Hiking

Around Lake Como area we have a various hiking playground. Despite lots of hiking trails are supposed to be easy to find and difficulties-free, you could always think to hire a professional mountain guide to go a bit (or a lot…) beyond your experience level. That’s why here I would like to propose some example of peaks and hikes that we are pleased to guide you into.

Mount Legnone
2609mt. It’s the highest peak of all the area, it’s a 3-4 hours hike to the summit involving some easy scrambling along fixed chains. The final ridge is also very exposed and we will use all your hiking experience. The view from the top is definitely unforgettable. Starting from 50€ p/p with a 6 people group.
Grignetta
2184mt. EASY DAY: 900 vertical meters hike for a total 4 hours tour. Easy scrambling towards the top and a very steep path make this famous balcony above the Lecco side a good challenge. Starting from 40€ p/p with a 8 people group.
2184mt. HARD DAY: some basic rock climbing and a longer track in the middle of spiky limestones tower will lead us to the summit. Good hiking shoes and a fit condition are a must. Starting from 90€ p/p with a 4 people group.
The Grigne Traverse (so close, so wild)
A 3 full days in middle of the Grigne massif, with superb view on the Lake and on all the Alps. The meeting point will be at Lecco train station, we will reach the foot of Grignetta by bus and after a 3 hours hike we will sleep at the Rosalba hut. The next day after having summited the Grignetta, we will traverse to the Grignone following the demanding upper traverse. After a night up at wonderful Rifugio Brioschi, we could choose different trails to get back to the valley and to the Lecco train station.
Sentiero Roma (deep into the Alps)
Unique high mountain path who cross the paradise of Val Masino from above surrounded by huge granite faces, glaciers and some challenging trails involving some easy scrambling. We will explore this forty kilometres of open horizons, at an average altitude of 2400-2500 metres above sea level, in a 3 days trip from Lake Como.
