Canyoning

Canyoning involves the use of abseiling, jumping and sliding to get from the top of a canyon, a river or a narrow valley to the bottom.
This is definitely one of the funniest activities you could practise around the area: canyon that are ideal for canyoning are often cut into the bedrock stone, forming narrow gorges with numerous drops, beautifully sculpted walls, and sometimes spectacular waterfalls. Most canyons we have are cut into limestone, sandstone or granite.

Canyons can be very easy or extremely difficult, though emphasis in the sport is usually on aesthetics and fun rather than pure difficulty. A wide variety of canyoning routes are found throughout Lake Como area, and canyoning here is enjoyed by people of all ages and skill levels.

PORLEZZA
Located in Osteno, few km from Porlezza, straight on Lugano Lake, this is a very interesting canyon that follow the local river. It offers some unique slides, mandatory jumps of max. 5 meters and a remarkable experience through a cave system. Not always possible and depending on water level. For sure an amazing experience which needs to be done. Kids allowed from 14yrs old. Starting from 75€ per person.

LENNO Perlana river
We will hike along the wilderness of Perlana Valley, along an historical path, facing the famous Santuario della Madonna del Soccorso. Then we will descend the river, enjoying the untouched nature, several slides, optional jumps (up to 6mt), caves.

The Lenno canyon offer a 3 hours tour, 20 min. walk, with eventually a shorter version suitable for all the family and kids from 8/9 years old. Starting from 65€ per person if you want to join a minimum of 5 people group (55€ for kids under 14yrs old).

We offer a tour in a group everyday either morning or afternoon depending on availability and season.

Private tours are possible upon request.
The meeting will be just above the city centre of Lenno, in our private base, where you could safely leave your belongings before we will get ready with the equipment.

The base it’s easy to reach with 15min walk from the bus stop or the boat pier in Lenno. FREE PARKING AREAS are available 200mts away. Lenno it’s easy to reach with 25min bus from Como and 10min bus from Menaggio (C10 line); boat from Bellagio everyday at 8:40am or Varenna by changing in Bellagio.

BELLAGIO
Not far away from the village considered the pearl of the Lake we have this easy gorge with some small pools, ideal if you want to escape from the hot summer days. Starting from 65€ per person in a 5pp group.

BODENGO number 2 (just for experienced guests)
A real alpine environment and a must if you want to… JUMP JUMP JUMP… Far north at the end of the Lake, no public trasport avalaible and accessible by a toll road. Just for those who has been canyoning with us previously or if you have already done this activity before. Jumps up to 12 meters and very long tour, full day activity, one of the most rewarding and beautiful canyon of the Alps.
Starting from 85€ per person in a 5pp group.
